Establishing Contact
Architects Without Borders Canada is a group of architects, interior designers and graphic designers who volunteer on projects in Canada, India, Sri Lanka and Africa. They agreed to help the Danau Buyan Taman Bacaan develop their visual identity.

Gathering Information
Working with students from BIS the AWB design team gathered some preliminary information and ideas for graphics. Using images submitted by the BIS students the AWB team synthesised some of the reoccuring themes in the students work to come up with a workable logo, font set and basic templates for stationary, signage, logos and the actual library card that the library will be using.

The first draft for the project arrived in December 2006.
